COGO+50

A menu based application with programs grouped into 5 menus but designed to make all the main programs available by pressing a single key from any menu. Create multiple jobs that are easy to manage, customize the way the program accepts input and displays output with available user settings and easily transfer ASCII files between calculator and computer. Whether you prefer to use RPN or Algebraic mode makes no difference, the program behaves the same way in either mode.

Overview

Below is a brief overview of COGO+50 features, see the User Reference Manual for detailed information and screenshots.

  • Powerful Point-To-Point COGO program which incorporates azimuth-azimuth, azimuth-distance, distance-azimuth, and distance-distance intersections, as well as distance-angle solutions and Inverse Points/Curve/Point to Line into a seamless sequence of prompt screens
  • Inverse program combining 4 easy to use routines in one input form to inverse points, a curve, an angle or a point perpendicular to a baseline
  • Offset Intersection program to calculate point coordinates at the intersection of offsets from 2 lines as defined by existing points.
  • Area by Points program to calculate areas as defined by existing points and draws the area after calculating it
  • Compass Rule adjustments
  • Rotate, mirror, shift and scale point coordinates.
  • Helmert coordinate transformations
  • Traverse program to create coordinates from fieldnotes, calculate stakeout points, reference line and reference arc calculations
  • Levelling program
  • Alignments program to define 3D alignments including horizontal elements (straight, curve and spiral-curve-spiral), vertical elements (straight and vertical curve), and cross sections. Once created, coordinates of any point within the alignment are easily calculated or calculate coordinates or create a report of the entire alignment at even station intervals
